Greetings

Slightly off topic I know - but hopefully not too far

- Reading through this forum for the last month or so has rekindled my interest in boardwargames, so much that I bought a copy of EiA off ebay. (Also to help learn the rules so I could play this computer version when it is released). There are obviously many people reading this forum who still play the boardgame, now I have a copy I would like to get involved in playing by email - as I have no chance of finding any physical opponents.

A previous post by somebody (cannot remember who) had a link to here http://utenti.lycos.it/playebasta/, but it is difficult to know if this site is still active. Can anybody direct me to a site that is active where there are potential opponents? Or are there people here who are still looking to play before the computer version arrives

What did you pay for it might I ask? I went looking just now but don't seem to be able to find any wargames. What area did you look in?

If you are looking to PBEM, check out http://groups.yahoo.com/group/empiresinarms/
you can usually find opponents there, though you may have to wait to find someone dropping a game or a new game starting. Doesn't happen as often as you think.

Lots of people out there play via cyberboard, which is a computer program that allows for PBEM of any wargame someone has bothered to port over.
