Maybe this was discussed before or it can be found somewhere in the manual (but I haven't found it yet). How will I know, that an artillery piece I want to buy in a campaign is off-bord or on-board ??? I always thought that the off-board pieces are marked with a special sign (* or # or something else), but I can't identify them. Thanx for any advise, Martin.

Offboard artillery is listed as "artillery" on the left hand side when you view the formation screen when buying units, whereas onboard guns are "howitzers". Not sure, but I think "rocket" is also offboard. Usually it would seem the offboard stuff comes in formations with FOs as well.
