Never had the balls myself - like to micro manage too much.

So, does anyone go for the three day bender and perhaps more pertinent why?

Why did they even put this option in the game?

You may use it when it gets to some of the slower things like buildups for major operations after the initial flurry of activity. Plenty of convoys but no action anywhere type stuff.

Use it for PBEM - I'm getting old and I want to finish the game

I use it to play my Long Campaign game. I chose it so I might have a hope of finishing a game this year. Also I think it gives you a more top level view. YOu must be strategic, and less tactical. Most of the game does nto need daily adjustment. I can always hit F9 if I really need to end after the current turn. If I am planning an Invasion, well I load up transports and such and send bombardment groups spaced out so they arrive at differnt times. ANd I also have all the combat animations and reports off. I only see the Combat reports after the turn.

Uncle Buck:

I'm curious about the poster in your sig. Looks like a war production poster, but I'm surprised they'd directly take a shot at Congress. Was this printed in response to some particular incident?

It is a War Production poster. I added teh Jibe at COngress. I am just sick of all the "Leaks" that come from those Pompos "@@##@. They get people killed and tip off the bad guys. Then tehy get away with it. Just look at the Sandy Berger thing of two weeks ago, now gone from the press. If I had lost a confidential document let alone been caught with one when I was n the Navy let alone now I woudl have been on teh fast track to Club Fed.

Thanks. Looking at it again, I can see it was added. And I agree with your sentiments. I guess they always know better than we do, huh?
