I'm wondering about those guys... available from november 42, 6 per company(!). Seems quite a lot. Does anyone have an informed opinion on the correctness of this information?

I have confirmed the correctness of the Soviet Ski Snipers. Can't remember exactly which source but it was U.S. Army technical manual of some sort.

I wonder if that has any relation to the team size for the Biathelon event in the winter Olympics.
