Hi, I'm very surprised to see that the scenarios in the games (apart the tutorila) are hudge ! I'm a total newbie at WitP and as this game is a monter, I'd like to start on small maps with few bases and low number of available stuff ..

any idea ? did someone develop such scenario ? or does it exist somewhere ?

thanks for yor help.

rodo_benzo,

Try scenarios 3 through 7. They are all smaller scenarios without the full size map and limited duration.

rodo_benzo I'm new to WitP as well; I first started to play around a bit with the tutorial. After that I went for Scenario 003 - Coreal Sea. 15 turns simple scenario (compared to others). You basically control Port Moresby and one air carrier combat task force and that's pretty much it. I have played this scenario arleady twice and I have learned a lot; though I know I still need to learn a lot more. I would say this is a perfect scenario to start with :)

there should be more short, fast scenarios, covering some operations like taking malaya for ex.
just to play for fun for several days/hours
grand campaign is ok but it takes months of play to end
