Mainly from the Japanese player's perspective. Been thinking about downloading it and starting all over with it. Anyone far enough along with it, yet, to have an opinon?

Best thing since sliced bread.

It is now my official PBEM scenario. If you have been messing with his first version, you need to do some serious looking around at and for the additional changes he made. Some caught me off guard. Other than that it is the ultimate.

Also, I am going to start working on a list of a/c used by the IJ player to convert his named (japanese) a/c over to what we are used to. With the new avail dates for some of the a/c. Have to be a MSWorks spreadsheet though. Only one I got.

Upgrade paths will be way too hard without using the editor and going air group by air group. Lets just say you will be very surprised.

His scenario also renders the upgrade argument almost mute. No more Nates by mid 42 if everything goes according to plan.

Still would like to be able to upgrade on the fly though.

Spooky's site

Spooky

Becoming the defacto "Mod" site. All sorts of goodies to supplement that game already over there. Some very nice replacement art work as well.

The only odd thing is that while I am setting "Variable start" option, I ALWAYS get the historic opening turn... I really enjoyed the variabilty on turn 1 and I really miss it. I tried more than 10 times. Other than that, it looks pretty amazing.

I am only about a week into a restart and I have experienced 2 CTDs, which may not be attributed to the mod at all. Can't tell.
