There is one that came out last year, each unit represents larger units though. The game uses the biggest map and gives the flavor of fighting up the road. I've always thought the XXX corps run up the highway would make a good campaign, but I don't have anywhere near the time to attempt it.
thanks, John.

Seb just posted 2 large scenarios of Kursk and Stalingrad, my re-make of a bridge too far should be ready this weekend, note these battles are out of scale but gives a great over all feel of the entire battle. M4

Also please keep in mind the one I posted last year was for 4.0 or 4.5...the remake I am working on has the same map but the units have changed a bit and you will need to load a modified OOB.
Check out Kursk and Stalingrad also! They be monsters! M4

Hey M4,
Where can I get my hands on Kursk and Stalingrad? Worst case, do you think you could email them to me?
Thanks

There used to be a SP1 Campaign (possibly on one of the expansion disks) for a Garden portion of the campaign.

CK, I made a HUGE scenario of the battle for the Arnhem Bridge and the attempt by 1 Para to relieve Frost's troops. It is an all-out infantry brawl, and needs to be played by two human players to work as intended, but when you are done, you'll have a good appreciation for the historical battle. If you want a short and sweet scenario, it's not for you. If you want a history lesson, let me know, and I'll send it to you. If you are interested in seeing the map for this scenario, go to Tankhead's site and download it. I will put that map up against ANY map ever done for this game as THE BEST Steel Panthers map ever done. Any body want to contest that one???? I'm currently working on a scenario series (am actually finishing the first map) for the 101st Airborne around Veghel, on Hell's Highway. As soon as I get my Battleground Europe book on Nijmegan, I'm going to work on a map of the city and do a scenario that models the fighting in Nijmegan up until the bridge was taken. Regards, David Boutwell

Yes I agree, the map, the scenario, all of it is great! You should be proud! My design is ment to cover the entire battle, I hold no cards to your Arnhem battle. I highly recomend it! And if you want the feeling of the battle of the Bridge, and Bridge, and Bridge... check mine out as well! M4

M4, Thanks for the compliment! Designing that scenario was like the quest for the Holy Grail. I think i spent at least $150 on the books to research that map. The scenario is less than perfect by the standards of those who like lots of tanks, and who don't seem to remember how long it took to play a game like Streets of Stalingrad, The Longest Day, Highway to the Reich, Terrible Swift Sword, Wellington's Victory and the like. It is a terribly complicated engagement, because both sides have to both defend and attack, making it very difficult to "program". Because of this, AI does not do either side justice, and it should be played by two humans, preferably by two humans who have studied the battle somewhat. But, I really designed the scenario to recreate, and learn more about the battle, not to provide a short distraction for some guy whose idea of studying history is fighting a thirty minute version of Kursk every time they turn on the game. If someone else appreciates it for what it is, then I am indeed proud, and you made it worth the time. I'd like to do a scenario on the Oosterbeek perimeter as well (as soon as the school year's over and this new young 'un is born, possibly). Maybe with bigger maps in Combat leader, I can link both areas together to create one hell of a Scrum!

By the way, did you use the Highway to the Reich map for your scenario design? I just noticed that you live in DC. What part, if I might ask? Regards, David Boutwell
