In the full map scenarios, each base information screen has a toggle in the lower left.

In the full map scenarios there is also a liittle button at the top of the screen (with the "All ship, All TF etc buttons. It looks like a little ship with masts).

That button opens a screen where you can assign bases to auto convoy and ships in SF and Karachi to autoconvoy

Devious,

Ports that receive supply automatically, OR that are connected via rail to ports that receive supply automatically can not be put on Auto Supply because they don't need to be supplied.

So, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Diego, Bombay, etc etc will not have the option to put them on auto supply. They get all they need via their own supply production or via rail.

I think the Auto Supply option works well for the allies. But, only if you don't put bases on that are near Japan bases (Lunga, Port Moresby, etc). The AI does not route convoys through the Marshals and Gilbers. It may look like they're heading that way, but they do get re-routed before they get into Japanese air threat.

Whoops!!! This response was supposed to go to Freeboy's thread!! Sorry Devious.

Trust the folks who say just don't use the auto-supply at all. The logic is a bit mystifying at the best of times. It's not that bad to make convoys and turn them over to CS mode.

Use a few major supply hubs (well behind the lines) for the big convoys from the home port, then fan out the stuff to the grunts.

hmm, I still didn't get answer for my question. Is it means that you have no control over auto-supply in no full map scenarios or nobody knows?

If you play autosupply, the Ai will create convoys from San Francisco or Karachi (after you gave it ships for this task!) these convoys will load automatically with supplies or fuel and be directed to the bases that need supplies/fuel at least in theory. AS a matter of fact I caught several autosupply convoys which tried to sail from Karachi to San Francisko to some strange island base, so believe your mates, don´t use them!

In this case I am quite sure there isn´t any autosupply.
Just look at the top iconlist. There is a symbol that looks like hmmm, strange black "ship" with two arrows upwards. click on it. There your autosupply bases and ships there and all your bases which to autosupply (or not) will be shown. If there aren´t any listed then there is no autosupply-convoy function.

I've checked nad you're right about that control button. That means you cannot control auto supply in not full map scenario but... In my game truk IS sneding convoys under computer control to other bases so it means that auto supply IS ON, regardless that this is not full map scenario.

Is the headquarter AI controlled? AI would send out convoys which are called CS: xxx under the icon. Are they really autosupply there would be "computer controll" under the pic.

To answer Devious....

In the full map campaigns, you are able to toggle bases to recieve auto-supply or not. In the tab on the tab is an auto-convoy where you can set up ships to do just that. They will load supplies and go to those bases listed with the ships you have added to the convoys..

in the Scenerios and Mini-maps, there is NO toggle (this is a bug)... so all scenerios have auto-convoy systems running, and no way to stop it.... best bet from what I have found in the Guadalcanal scenerio is to keep all your AKs and APs busy, though the computer will still steal ships at times and try and use it for auto-convoys.... remember this is a bug, not a feature and should hopefully be fixed soon
