How accurate is the ships sunk count when your see your apponents number in the Intelligence section?

playing as allied it says that there's 87 ships sunk in the game to my 40.

I took a peak at the nips side and it says that they have 171 ships sunk to my 47.

Is this the Fog of War coming into play?

BTW, I'm playing scenerio 16 on the historical level and no Mods to the game

Anything you see on the screen -IS DEFINATELY SUNK-.

What happens when you sink a ship, if it goes down unwitnessed, it picks a date (1 - 30) and that's how many days delay there is before it shows up on the sunk screen.

So you could sink a ship, and it wouldn't be confirmed (not show on the screen, or award VPs) for up to 30 days.

At the end of a scenario however, all sunk ships are included in the screen (including VPs).

Wow, that's a pretty cool way of doing it.

I just wish it gave a date for when the ship was sunk. That way we could track when those big memorable battles took place.

I thought it did track when ships were sunk, what got them and the location.

Not sure what the maximum delay on the reporting is, but figure up to 127 or 255 days.
