I am doing some playtesting in v7.1. Don't know whether the sceanarios are built in v6 or 7 but anyway:
It seems that when guns are abandoned, "pale" icons of them appear, but looking as if they are still manned. No crew unit appears. The unit cannot be activated, does not spot, etc. I have seen this happen to field guns, AT-guns and even machine guns, but only on my side.

Is it possible that the crew was destroyed after they abandoned the gun? If there was an arty bombardment in the area could they have maybe retreated into it?
