I see no problem with installing it now. I had no problem. You'll want to get the patch from Fabios site so you can see the parked aircraft and correct a one sided scenario.
You would put that in after installing MC-W. Here are some hints I posted earlier about installation and what should be where.
It should go well for you if you do the following. Just leave Desert Fox where it is.
Install MC-W CD. Be very careful here. When it asks for a path, it will try to add to that path: Steel Panthers World at War, no matter what you type in.
So after you select the path (where the files are to go), check and see what the program says as to where it is going to install it.
For example, If you type in as a path, C:\Matrix\SPWAW, when you finish, look at the path listed. It will say, "C:\Matrix\SPWAW\Steel Panthers World at War." If the above path is what you want, simply delete the last Steel Panthers World at War phrase at the end of the path. Make sure it reads like it should. Then click continue.
Now, once they are installed, take your file manager and look in the MegaCam folder. You should now have the following setup
1. Inside the MegaCam directory you should have a folder and a file for each Mega Campaign. You should also have a save folder.
2. There should be NO folders inside folders inside the MegCam directory. It should look like this: This is IF you have all three Mega Campaigns.
\SPWAW \Lost Victories \Operation Watchtower 42 \Save \The Desert Fox-41 Lost Victories.cfg Operation Watchtower 42.cfg Mainsplash.lbm The Desert Fox-41.cfg
All lost victories files should go inside the Lost Victories folder EXCEPT any SND files. Any SND files go into the SND directory. All of them. All LV Snd Files are 11000+ and all MC-W Snd files are 22000+
If you have a Lost Victories folder nested inside another Lost Victories Folder, move them out of the sub folder and put them into the main Lost Victories folder. Follow the same procedure for MC-W.
Then they both will appear. You'll also need the MC-W patch for MC-W. You can get it from Fabio Prado's web site. Load that patch in AFTER you install both MCs.
Delete your Steel.prf, reboot and then give it a try.
Good luck with it.
