Hi,

While trying to figure out how to best tune japanese aircraft production I put together a small
spreadsheet that lists thing like aircraft upgrades, total number of airgroups and planes of each
type etc.
Spooky has kindly put it on his site (http://mathubert.free.fr/).

I'm sure there are some errors and omissions in the sheet, if you notice any, please contact me.
Two things I already noticed:
1. Adding up the totals for all plane types at start of scen. 15 I come up 10 short.
2. The float planes that you get along with newly built ships are omitted (I did include those present
at start of scen. 15)

Hope this helps the people playing Japan.

regards,
Gunnar

Excellent speadsheet Gunnar (so you now have praise from three Croatians LOL )

I get some strange ideas looking at your document, like - ignoring half the planes Japanese ever designed, and scrapping another quarter. I think I'll wage my wars with only Nells, Betties and Vals never switching to newer models. Within WITP's production/research/whatever model it seems very reasonable decision.

Just to complete the list of praise comming from Croatia, I think we should nominate Gunnar for president, the election date is soon, and he allready has four votes

Seriously, great work. I have one suggestion there could be a total for engines requried.

Sure, if you don't mind being able to use only 40% of your LBA units....personally I find that Nick, Oscar, Sonia, Anne, Lily, Sally, Babs, and Dinah all have their uses.

No of course, these are fine aircraft models

I meant to say (ironically), who needs crappy aircraft like Peggies, Frances, that dive bomber that is supposedly "improvement" over Val (though it is less durable and has similar range) etc.
