This is the 2nd time in this scenario that this happens, first it was in my Looking for 'lost' ENG Thread, now with my Airborne troops lifted to Guadacanal.

The file with the previous round is in this link: http://www.sharemation.com/pimparel/Missing%20Troops%20Bug.rar

Both times it happened when I was airlifiting my troops, maybe the fond a time warp? a Vortex, or this is exclusive of the Bermuda triangle?

This bug is very annoying!!! Also in this scenario something is strange... The Japanese troops production doesn't include any Army guns? And some Australian Planes aren't produced? There is a plan to review the smaller scenarios? I'm a small scenario fan!!!

Allied vs. Japanese AI

Everything ON, except: Hystorical 1st Round; Vary Setup; Auto Upgrade.

Version 1.21

My last orders are in place, just load as Allies and run the day. The missing troops is in Tassaronga in Guadacanal.

If it helps, when I click in the Tassa... BASE, which should have the Para Icon, they appear in the troops listed... and if I click in the place where the infantry Icon should be the TOE appear.

I grabbed it, but it is a rar file. I renamed the save to a free slot of mine, but it will not load. What do I need to do to run it and I will take a look.

Ran the turn 3 times and the unit is USMC para bn is gone everytime on my machine.
The IJ launch an attack at turns end and the Para Bn is not even listed as being there to defend. Also the base stays under allied control. I have a my delays set to .01 so I did not get a good read on what attack they did.

Will run it a few more times with higher delay.

Okay, ran it at a slower delay speed. IJ launch a deliberate attack on Tassa.

No Allied unit is listed in the combat animations at all.
The combat summary lists:

Attacker 931 men, 1 gun
defender 848 men, 12 guns
odds 0 to 1

Next turn, NO allied troops are listed at the base at all. Base still under allied control.
Looks valid to me so far.

Funny thing happened yesterday with my 503rd paras...
I loaded the previous save where I hadn't yet moved rest of the gang and instead loaded them up on a ship at Langa -> they appeared on a ship which I loaded at Brisbane!!
On the ship which I loaded the 503rd, was an another unit.... go figure.

Got it covered but the problem is it doesn't happen with *our* version so I don't really know what to say about it. Thats why I asked for some results from others not running our version. Obviously there is a problem which is replicateable, but not in the current patch level.
