Since the Italian Navy won't be present and you will take and name for the USN, I'd like a CA like the Chicago of the Indianapolis.

Capriglione, A.V. Leadership:63, Inspiration: 69, spelling 27

Very aggressive and promising commander best suited to command surface or invasion.

If you are going to include LCU's for the reinforcement of the PI I'd rather command a US Army infantry division or armoured unit.

MGEN Capriglione A.V. Leadership: 72 Inspir.:60 very agressive, and suited to command assault unit.

My Dad was in the invasion of Luzon in 1945. And Owk.

P.S. I love your scen. 27, I'll be playing it for many years. Thanks

Ooo! Almost didn't see this!

Murrin, N. F.
Leadership: 71 (Lead by example! Just call me Horatio Aubrey Bolitho!)
Inspiration: 52 (Ehh, I think my methods would be a bit behind the times)

Very aggressive, best suited to command a surface unit.

What ship would you like vm? Pick your own if it was available 1905-1922, or command one of the super dreadnoughts not completed.

Thanks dude, glad you like it.

Since you'd rather command an LCU, I'll add you in as a CO of one of the divisions in the PI. So, if it falls, it'll be your fault j/k

I'll take any US or UK cruiser, what with them being the early 20th century frigate and all.

I haven't even got to adding the fighters in yet, as they won't be the integral part of the game. However, there should be some fighter units at some point. Right now, I am wanting to get the naval combat part done.

Cool, give me one of the national guard tank battalions. One of them came from my area and I was in the Illinois national guard.

Or at least give me an US Army unit.

Ok if the Italian navy will not be present how about the American Zepplins, Shenandoah, Macon, Akron and Los Angeles. I would prefer the Akron or Macon since they have aircraft as well.

I can just picture a TF full of posters from this BBS.

The TF commander would give a command and from every ship in the TF would get complaints and bytching and "Why cant I upgrade my ship ?' comments.

Beckman, R. R.

How about the cancelled USS Iowa BB-53 if she is in the game.

Leadership 72 - What to do with your free time if your an engineer from Iowa but study leadership
Inspiration 42 - who wants to follow an engineer from Iowa???????

If she's not in the game, any US battleship will do.

Sure! I'll make sure she has plenty of beer, junk food and fireworks on board. Still laugh when I remember passing through that "South of the Border" redneck park on the NC/SC border. Was talking to some kids who said it was not fair that fireworks were legal in SC and not in NC. Guess they lived in NC.

No worries. I'm a redneck, or so my friends say because I'm politically incorrect. Apparently the definition of redneck is different in such a poof town like Ottawa. I don't shoot squirrels, let alone eat them, but I like to think I'm one.

I'm going to grab a big can of Holsten Festbock now.

I don't think I'm going to go for a battleship, of course. I'd be Japanese, but my last name won't fit.

USS Albany (CL-23) (it was stationed near China in the 1910s, I believe)

If you want to be a Japanese, even with your name, that is cool. But, if its the Albany you want, you can have her.

Funny thing, The Albany and her sister New Orleans were about the only non-US built ships to see service in that era. The were built in Britain for Spain, but purchased just before the Spanish American War, then re armed with US gun right before WWI. Good choice!
