Loading multiple units on boats

Status: offline 		How do you load landing crafts that can hold more than one unit, such as two squads of 10 men each. I know they can carry them because of their capacity, and they can unload them. But I do not know how to load both of them back unto the craft, because you must first click on the craft and then the unit to load the unit. Once that unit is loaded, you cannot click on the craft to load the other unit, it looks for the loaded unit to unload. Is this a bug or is there a way to do it.

Status: offline 		Have you tried "Shift Click" for the second squad you want to load?
IIRC it is the way you should do.

Status: offline 		Make sure both squads are in the same hex as the craft (using the shift click). Load the first one as you normally do. Now choose the second squad by clicking on them normally. Select load, then the landing craft. You may load either from the passenger's menu or the vehicle's menu in this game, but when loading multiple units, you must use the passenger's menu to do it, or the craft will unload every time you try for another unit.

Status: offline 		The problem is that I cannot get the land units into the same hex as the boat. The boat is in a water hex that the land units cannot enter and the boat cannot enter the the hex where the land units are. The land units must be loaded one hex away.

Status: offline 		RJMI: In one scenario I was able to load more than one unit into a barge by pulling up to a pier/damaged bridge and one other time I had shallow water next to shoreline allowing both barge and troops to be in same hex. This was before ver 8.2 by the way.

Sorry, you can not load more than one unit onto a barge during a battle. It is not possible.

Yes, I tried it by moving the boat into a water hex that had a bridge and was able to also move multiple land units unto the same hex and load them. The same, then, would apply to shallow water.
