I've got some texts about hungarian units. ¿Whom should I send them? ¿How ti fix them permanently to a pic and create a new Hungarian OOB? :P

Maciste,

If you can open the OB editor and select the Hungary OOB, you can view each unit.

Look for the text field in the OOB editor.
That is the name you need to use for your encyclopedia file.
If the text value is 0 no enc file is possible.

Hungarian pictures are found in the PIC directory as lbm files in the series 7400-7499
If you can open these pictures (I use irfanview) you can see the unit. The text file has the same number as the lbm file.

If you need help please pm me.

2Major Destruction , I ask me to excuse for long silence, was in holiday and could not go on a forum! Photos ZIS-42 and STZ-5 I shall send you by mail! The truth they will be in a format jpg.

After changes in names AT-gun in Russian ООВ as the list will look??

Coming back to question SU-37!! Till 1943 arms of red army was SELF-PROPELLED GUNS considering ZIS-30! What for have included skilled machine SU-37 not clearly, now she wanders from one version of game in another (

ZIS-42 Was issued since spring 1942 for 1946. On arms was till 50 years. It was used as a vehicle and as the artillery tractor. ZIS-42 it was used as the tractor for 122-mm a howitzer and others easier instruments. The maximal speed on highway - 39,8 km/h, average speed on highway - 27,3, average speed on dry a glade - 19,6, average speed on dirty a glade - 31,1. Before occurrence ZIS-42 machines NATI-3 and GAS - 60 were issued, but they have not received wide application because of bad specifications.

STZ-5 Was issued since 1937. STZ was capable to overcome trenches depth up to 1 m and to force fords depth up to 0,8 m. With an artillery piece on the trailer it could move on highway with a speed up to 14 km/h, at movement on earth roads average speed made up to 10 km/h. In artillery parts they towed artillery systems in weight up to 3400 kg, including 76-mm shelfs and divisional downs, 122-mm and 152-mm of a howitzer, and also 76-mm (later and 85-mm) antiaircraft guns. Shortage in 1941 of more suitable vehicles of high passableness forced to mount on STZ-5 jet mortars BM-13.
In total it has been let out 9944 STZ-5, from them 6505 - after the beginning of war.

Hi guys
I saw the request and as an avid WWII enthusiast, I'd love to help. I have more than a few sources to work from, so if you would like me to assist, please let me know. However, some direction would help - ie. what specific areas need looking into/updating/rewriting - I'm sure you don't need anyone reinventing the wheel. Unless, of course, the idea IS to reinvent the wheel - a better one.

Most of my sources concern Axis tanks, so that's my strength.

PS : Tried to email Major Destruction at the hotmail account given at the beginning of this thread - no joy - temp problem or email changed ?

Cheers

I have recollected that it would be desirable to see in ООВ the USSR. It is 107, 122 and 152-mm of a howitzer of a sample of 1910-30. These instruments could be used as artillery on a card and behind a card till 1942.

I think the OOB's are closed for further editing now.
I managed to get the ZiS-42 included.
Our failure to replace the SU-37 was related to icon and lbm problems.

Howitzers can be inserted by scenario designers if the gun exists in the weapon list of any nation but in fact the game data for each 10/30 type is unlikely to differ from any other howitzer of the same calibre.

Your comments are valuable. The information you provide could be used in the Combat Leader OOB development.

Thanks, is good news!
I am very glad that at last that will appear in Russian OOB ZIS-42.
It was possible to add STZ-5 whether or not? What has been added OOB the USSR still?
Whether after a patch 8.3 will be still attempts to correct OOB and whether it will be possible to hope that further is removed SU-37?
I shall be always glad to help the information for improvement of game.
