Is there a list of the Hot Keys, if any somewhere in the Manual ?

On day 8 and 3/4 of my British Divisions still have not landed their divisional or corps artillery, I have exactally 2 25 pdrs batterys for the whole British sector ??

On my 5th restart of the Game the 1st. British Para cannot, with all 4 Battalions, take the Orne River bridge from the East side, although rolling no higher then 3 ( and 1 four times ) may have something to do with it ???? Then they are quickly killed off by the german Panzers. Also in only 1 start did any of the paras ( one Battalion ) land on the West side of the river. Why is that ?

Haven't seen a hotkey list either.
The US has much more arty.
The 6th Airborne is a panzer magnet. I lost the entire Division but they did manage to blow a few bridges.

Can't say I have seen a list, which is why I made my own from the hotkeys shown on the options screen.

The Britsh Paras do have a tough time. My plan with them is as follows:

Move all four British BBs to hex 58,13 a much more useful location than their start position.

Kill the Strongpoint at 61,28 with the BBs.

After the strongpoint has been eliminated, get as many Paras as possible back across the Orne.

Hold the town at 61,28 to stop the Axis blowing the bridge, and you'll be able to use it later to attack when circumstances are more favourable.

The British Monitor MMS Roberts can shoot at the British beaches on the first turn, but should be sent ASAP to hex 36,14 where it, along with the other British Monitor, can bombard those nasty strongpoints defending Carentan.

Gregor, you got the opening moves I was just going to post down pat. Essential to use the Br. BB's to take out the SP's inland near Caen. Also, the two Monitors MUST get to the ONE HEX where they can reach the two SP's at Carentan. Unfortunately, things are so helter-skelter on Utah that you cannot be reasonably assured of moving quickly to the ideal attack points at Carentan. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that due to the limited supply range and few units the Allies have at their immediate disposal (coupled with remaining SP's in some cases and low movement rates), the Allied attack options are essentially to move straight forward and engage if feasible.

IMO, if you don't take Carentan in the first 5-6 turns, it may be impossible given the way the German AI packs that place for defense. Too few good angles of approach further hinder efforts @ Carentan. By the time my Omaha Beach forces could muster an attack on the place, all those Luftwaffe troops arrive to create problems there. I think you basically have to roll lucky on that poor 10-1+ table that has no overrun possibility. I typical roll ones and twos on it (both "*" results).
