Hi-- One of my pet peeves with PacWar 2.2, is that it doesn't keep track of which passengers are loaded on which ships. If an Engineer unit is loaded on three APAs, and all three are sunk, somehow the unit ends up at the destination of the task force instantly. If they fit into two APAs and only one of the three is sunk, then it appears to always be the empty one that is sunk. And when airplanes are destroyed on the ground, the airgroups lose experience as if the pilot was in the plane. Will these be addressed and fixed in Uncommon valor, or WITP? I would like the computer to keep track of what forces are loaded into the APs and if one is sunk, mark all passengers eliminated. I think you are addressing the air crew problem from what I've read. Anyone else have any ideas from PacWar deficiencies? Thanks, kp

Hello... The actual passengers in each ship are tracked individually. If you sink a ship, the passengers in that ship are lost. If other ships are present, they will usually try to save as many of the folks as they can take aboard, before they drown. Additionally, if a ship takes damage, passengers will often take casualties. I have seen this happen not only from shelling and bombing, but from staffing, as well. Individual pilots are tracked. When a plane is shot down, the pilot may die or bail out and escape or be captured. We have a routine that determines the pilots fate. Bye... So, if they take casualties from shelling, bombing, or strafing, will the squads, AFVs, A/C, or guns destoyed be counted in the kill points? They are not in PacWar, but they should be. Thanks, kp
