This seems to be what's happened. There's a great deal of patch chatter on the BiN forum and complete official silence here.

Wouldn't it be up to SSG to patch Battles in Normandy and not 2 by 3 or any of the WitP crew?

Actually, they're in no hurry to patch BiN. SSG has repeatedly said it'll be a while, and they're trying to catch all the major bugs before releasing anything. They even encouraged the first tournament to get under way, instead of waiting.

patch for bin coming out of SSG, patch for witp a matrix/ 2x3 effort... no corrilation
