...Now..I may be wrong , but somehow I think this aircraft type was not available in dec1941....because if you check in historical campaign as Japanese you have a squdron of those planes near Hong-Kong..

No, that`s ok. This (is) was a test unit with pre-production airplanes.

First flight of the Ki-44 was august 40
