There were four Hermes class carriers: HMS Hermes, HMS Centaur, HMS Bulwark and HMS Albion (but was she perfidious?)

I can't find detailed specs on the other early British carriers (HMS Ark Royal, Courageuos Class - HMS Glorious and HMS Courageous), HMS Eagle, HMS Furious) this morning. I also am having trouble locating specs on the early Japanese and American CVL's. Anybody know of a good site that compares all of these?

I think the 4 ship Hermes class you are thinking of Toast is a post war class. The small WW2 Hermes was a one-off ship.

Here are Albion and Bulwark in the 1960s.

You are absolutely right. Trying to answer too quickly this morning before I had to go to work. I was confusing the HermesII and that class of Carrier's with the original Hermes which was a one-off ship. Thanks for the correction.

By the way, I found a little more information on some of the other early British carriers:\

Courageous: Displacement: 22500, Aircraft: 35, Speed: 31 knots
Ark Riyal: Displacement: 2200, Aircraft 60, Speed: 30
Furious: Displacement: 22500, Aircraft: 35, SPeed: 30
