With your resignation and the last MG patch, this spells the beginning of the end of the Matrix SPWAW community. I have to disagree in part. KG did a job most would not have taken. As such that shows he has guts (ok I will say it that way for KGs sake :) ). I don't think the SPWaW community is in danger of "dying" though. The game quite frankly has too many fans. Now whether or not we will see any "official" interest past 8.3 is hard to say. I thought the game was as done as dinner back at 5. Then it was 6. then it was 7. Then it was 7 and a bit more. Then it was 8 and the ultimate version. Which became and and a bit more. and a bit more. Somewhere along the way though, Matrix Games has to finally tell the fans, "look if you think you can do better, then shut up and produce". Not meant to sound nasty, but just making it plain, I don't feel I am owed anything more. I don't think anyone that has bought a MC is owed any more. I don't think anyone that has bought the General's edition is owed anything more. Yes you heard correct. All of you guys screaming over incredibly small minutae, get with the reality. You could have a game like a few people know I love to hate, which don't play worth squat at all. And there will always be the small percentage that are just cursed. Because, software being software, is just never going to cooperate 100% on 100% of the machines out there 100% of the time. Life's like that. So KG, thanks for your hard work man. But do the smart thing, go now and enjoy being a gamer like the rest of us. Spout off when you want, respond when you want, answer when you want, and worry about what you want :)
