After reading the various threads posted by desperate men (yes, I even read the political stuff as it will disappear after 1.3 hits the lines), I've had an epiphany.

Folks, this goofy business is why "normal" people think us a wee bit unhinged.

Then what are you doing smoking and drinking?! You know very well that WITP unpatched is the only thing that will help until the patch itself arrives... For shame!

I've given up most of my vices as I've gotten older. Wargaming, caffeine, and nicotine aren't among them!

When asked at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles if I wanted to be a donor. I had to tell them that noboby was going to want any organ from me when I was done with it.

I was asked the same last time I had to visit the DMV, to which I replied:

"The average human organ system is designed to run approximately 29,000 days. I bought mine used."

No, they said their crew would be back from Germany on the 28th... and NOW they can begin to work on getting the install properly setup and tested (except for the effects of jet lag... oops).

Hate to ask what your other vices are.

The rule for learning about life is this: "Try anything once, except incest".

Trying to be politcally correct. I don't want to offend anyone in the gay community.

ANYTHING????

Oh my God!!!

At least one thing I will NEVER NEVER NEVER try. You know, it's the old story: there is an ex-star, ex-alcoholic, ex-rich, ex-drug addict, ex-handsome, ex-convict...

... but I never heard of an ex-gay!

Since you liked my other little quip, I'll share a different take on the "try anything once" maxim that I overheard several years ago:

"Try anything once, except sex. Because if you try it even once, you're the one who gets screwed in the end."

That was a senior NCO giving advice on girls to a PFC.

Never have I heard a statement more true than that!

Marriage is the most expensive form of sex that a male will have!

Marraige is the only form of Prostitution sanctioned by the State..., and for which
a Judge will award the Hooker half your income for the rest of your life.

I am amazed by all the wisdom that is coming from these off-topic threads. We have a lot to be thankful for. If we weren't waiting for the latest patch, we would be gaming instead!

I resent that! By the time I made PFC I had already gotten laid. Heck, when I made Cpl. I had gotten laid at least twice.

Marrying for the sex is like buying the fast food restaraunt for the free ketsup packets.

Or as my father put it "A man is not complete until he gets married...then he is finished"

Must be alot of us divorced guys in this forum. How may have WiTP widows out there?
