Ok - I am being inundated with VR sqns
VR-9B Ulithi
VR7B/B ulithi
VR-3f PH some 50 F6F
VR-4T/A PH
VR-4T/1 PH
VR-12F Naha
VR12F/1 Ulithi
VR7F/2 Guam
VR11F/2 bONIN
LIST GOES ON & ON
They show up and move around on their own often squatting at a base where I have carefully balanced AV spt & av units - I have tired to establish sort of a holding base (Ulithi) and xfer them all there figuring to rotate CV/L/E back when needed but they wont stay there. They fly to saipan and squat at teh B29 base - any idea waht the logic/mechanic is on these?

They are trying to hook up with the CVE they are based on ... like all air groups, they will attempt to join with their CV.
