Did a quick search and couldn't find this.

I prefer victory hexes that are not per turn (i.e. the points they give are determined by who owns them at the conclusion). Is there anyway to force the victory hexes to be "normal" when setting up a random map in PBEM (or even by doing some tricks like making a custom map)?

The only solution I see is to make the PBEM, open the file as the opponent, check the victory hexes, and start over again if they are per-turn. I would like to know if there is an easier way than this luck of the draw method.

In the Editor while looking at either side in Deploy, you'll see a button with crossed white & red flags. In that you can change attributes, values, etc., of the VH's.

Um I may be mistaken, but I don't think you get the editor commands in PBEM. At least in my the test PBEM I just set up I never saw the button with crossed white / red flags.

If you are player one, click on 'view map' in the purchase screen. Then click the mini-map, right on a victory hex (they appear on the mini). You will zoom to that spot on the map. Now move your cursor around unitl you find the invisible hex. If it is a per turn hex, then restart the setup.
