In a surpising move, guess it was a surprise for some of the membership at least heheh, Battlefront has decided they don't care much for political rants much either :)

They have elected to do as Matrix Games has done, redirect link to somewhere else for political rants.

So if you were wondering what the background moaning was, it's all the guys from BF lamenting :)

Les.

When the H3ll are you going to stop this cr@p. Take your whining, complaining agenda somewhere else.

What little respect any people may have had for you, here, has evaporated. You have descended into self cariacature.

Would the mods PLEASE do something about this guy?

What the hell crawled up yer butt and died?

I was just saying another commercial forum also thought it wise to try reduce the confrontational postings.

And you scream and rave at me?

I sure don't need your respect.

I helped MAKE this place a place to be thankyou very much.

And you are sure sucking the life out of me worrying if it is here tomorrow.

I think you proved his point, Les. The prosecution rests.

Les,

Since I believe you are testing us regular guys, I shall try and explain Chris' post, to the best of my abilities. With your self-proclaimed superior IQ, you have already figured this out - thats how I know you are just testing us.

First, your post is off topic. It is neither wargame related, nor military history related, but related to someone else's forums.

Second, your title. This suggests (after reading the message content) that anyone who posts in threads that you do not particiapte in is miserable. This is untrue, and appears to be self-serving.

Third, the term 'political rants'. this suggests that anyone talking about AoW type stuff, or politics, is ranting. This is, of course, untrue. This also appears to be part of your usual attempts to take a shot at the guys that do enjoy it in a manner where they cannot defend themselves.

Fourth, "I helped MAKE this place a place to be thankyou very much." True or not, that doesn't have anything to do with, well, anything at all, and should never be typed by you again. Others do not understand your greatness, and it seems, well, boastful. I suppose you put it in because it has been at least a week since you have added anything like that to a post, so we don't forget how you feel. Thanks.

Fifth, Chris is hardly in any way affecting the continuance of the forums here, but people posting off topic stuff sure may be.

My advice? Go over to Mad's and post directly to the people you intended to insult or take a shot at. With your IQ, you should have no problems tearing them a new one. I would even come and watch, so I could learn something perhaps.

Did I pass, or am I unworthy?

Yawn you are both boring, predictable, and well, expendable.

Thought I would post a light hearted thread, it was a waste of time, fortunately not much though.

It wasn't about a political leader, or a nation's current actions, nor even a questionable cultural behaviour.
Just about WARGAMERS and WARGAMING forums.

And no, you didn't pass.

Defeated again by Godlike intellect. Damn.

Someday maybe I will be smart enough for you to actually address my (I thought) valid points. But, like usual, when someone makes what appears to us little folk to be a valid observation, you yawn, act bored, type a song in, insult, or just leave a thread. It sure must be lonely being smarter than everyone, Les.

This statement highlights your arrogance. OOOhh! Aaaahh! I've been declared 'expendable' by Les the Sarge! How will I ever live it down?!?!

Just about WARGAMERS and WARGAMING forums.

I would like to refer you to an answer VicKevlar gave you to one of your earlier attempts.

Well Les.....If you have an issue with it take bring it up with David or Shaun. They are the ones who set the standard. Period.

Matrix provides a redirection to a place where you can 'chat' about things not specifically related to wargaming and military history. If you choose not to visit said alternative, that is your decision. Just because you don't "like" the provided option does not mean you can ignore the set standard here.

Please note his reference to this board being for 'wargaming and military history'. NOT for complaining about other forums. IIRC this board has NEVER allowed peolple to b1tch about other forums' content or allowances.

I'm pretty sure one of the last things Goblin will ever worry about is whether or not you think he 'passes'. I'm sure I don't.

Les does not have the stones to show up in the Steakhouse, much less the Doghouse.

That is why he snipes over here where it is semi safe for him.

What a wuss.

Whoa! Arrive a little late and WWIII has started! Actually, the prevalence of ":)" smilies in the original post seemed to hint towards a light-hearted sort of thread to me...

Well, I guess I don't, so that's why I'm rather astonished at the somewhat sour turn the thread took...

I can not count the number of times Les has "quit Matrix for good", but he always returns. This time under a different name.

He is just a whiny fool that hides where it is safe.

I've seen this point brought about several times when discussin him. What do you guys mean by him 'hiding behind a mod's skirt' or 'hides where it is safe'?

Since politics are taboo over here at Matrix now a days, Les will snipe with comments over here where it is safe. He can not get "beat down" too bad before the mods lock it up.

Plus his "I made this place" crap gets really, really old. He infers to be so much more intelligent than us common folk, yet he will not bring it to where he will have to back it up.

Mainly the "hides behind the mods" and "hides where it is safe" are references to back in the good old days when Matrix had a politics style forum. When a "few" people/political leaning groups would get a serious spanking from the "right" they would run to the mods.
That is one of the reasons politics is taboo here now.

But now we play at the Steakhouse where there is no where to run or hide. Not one person has ever been banned there or even suspended, except for the person who spammed the board. And he is only banned from part of the board.

Alright.....enuff. This place is not the forum for this type of stuff. Take is someplace else...........like Vinny and Doog's.

@All...........looks like some of ya aren't just getting it. It doth appear that everyone in this thread knows quite well that this forum is for gaming and military history, yet nobody actually abides by it. Therefore, the next step is flat out punishment.

Locking up.
