To Patch or not to Patch, That is the question
It seems from the forum that there are significant problems being encountered on upgrade from 1.21 to 1.3.
1.21 is running OK for both my PBEM opponent and myself.
Is it worth taking a risk on upgrading or better to wait a while for a 1.31 patch?

I am not sure what problems you are referring to, but if you mean the bugs that were claimed to have been fixed, but weren't, then I would say upgrade anyway. My reasoning for this is this; by upgrading you WILL receive the oob fixes, the uber PT problems are gone and the Japanese disappearing ship bug will be history as well (at least I've heard nothing to suggest that it's still a problem). The fixes that weren't, will still be problems, but they were problems prior to 1.3 and I can't say that things have gotten worse, with the possible exception of the ASW changes. However, some of us have seen huge problems with Allied ASW and others not so much. So it's kind of a wash as far as I'm concerned. I vote for the upgrade!
