I don't know if it is just me, or not (searched the forums but couldn't find anything on it) I have just started the Coral Sea scenario,in v1.40 as Allies, against the AI (just the get started!) and when the AI captures a base, for a brief moment, it shows a few allied TF icons present at the base, the common ones I have seen have been a Mine Warfare and a Transport TF icon. I just wish I had ships there to prevent the capture It isn't a major thing, just wondered if anyone else had experienced it.

Yes, see it all the time. The way it was explained, the TF's are created in case there are ships to add. If not those TF's are deleted automatically.

Ah right That's ok then. Here is another thing I spotted, it states in the manual that loading of troops on Turn one of a scenario should be completed automatically, yet it took me the first three days of the scenario to load a division up at Brisbane, another something for me to go back and recheck

Thanks for the response

Think that only works for the Japs, it allow for there surprise attacks. They get a first turn loading and movement bonus.

I believe it also only supposed to be that way in Scneario 15. After all, from 12/8/41 on the Allies kinda knew something was up with the Japanese.

Just an odd thing I guess as the FAQ's also state the instant loading applies to all players on turn 1 of any scenario, maybe it was just the way I created the TF (only putting in 1.5 times the capacity required...hey ho though )
