In the Das Reich campaign, if you dont spend the repair/upgrade points between maps, it doesnt add up to the next map, and you lose them forever.

What about the normal WW2 campaign?

Yes, you can save the points. After ten battles, I have about three thousand saved up (waiting for the early Tigers!).

The way I do it and maybe wont make sense to some of you is this. After each battle I repair and if I lose tanks I will try and upgrade those. If I lose a ATG I will see if I can upgrade that as well. If they are not damaged or lost I will leave them alone. Of course this will make you eventually have a mix match type of organization. Any points left over after this is then split down the middle for new and better equipment. Granted I never seem to have a lot of points to carry over and this will more then likely hurt me as I get into the later years.

This really gets to make it tough to have only top of the line equipment. Especially like with the British where i have been having a tough time against the Germans and lose a lot of tanks. The battle I have just started is an assault at Tobruk and I am short on tanks and recon. This is goin to be a very tough time for the Brits this time. I am hoping to get a draw by taking all the forward VHs.

In answer to your question its yes. You can save points and let them build up in the long campaign.

If you find yourself falling behind in repairs during the long campaign, you can always F9 and fight another day. Discretion being the better part of valor, so to speak. You still get repair/upgrade points. Your unit morale takes a hit, but you can make that up with a few victories after your "R & R".
