ok, where to start. This is my first AAR and also my first PBEM (and if my bloody pc did not lock up all the time I would be able to write something grrr)

Take two..

After the pre-emtive strike by my devine KB against the zionistic imperialists, IJN pilots reported not one but 2 !! enemy carriers at pearl harbour. The devine KB pilots, guided by the emperors divine hand struck a mortal blow to the enemy. putting a torpedo and multiple bombs into each of the carriers. The capitalists battleships where also docked in that sespool called " Pearl harbour" and where evenly struck down hard by the devine wind, none of the vile ships was seen sinking but beeing struck down by our mighty samurai they could not have survived...

As my taskforce was not spotted prior to the attack, no retaliatory strikes from PH or the carriers was executed.

long live the emperor................

So my young Spanish opponent thought to hunt my subs outside of pearl, of course they where already gone, but not so their big brothers of the KB.

In a series of attacks the imperial KB sank at least 13 !! imperialistic destroyers without significant loss. LONG LIVE THE EMPEROR.

Another interesting report was made, a taskforce was sighted north of Singapore witch included 2 BB’s 2 CA’s and 5 DD’s……. can this be force Z ?? If so my opponent made a mistake……

Another GLORYUS day for the KB, one of our heroic submarine commanders spotted a large imperialistic taskforce steaming to the west coast, away from decadent Pearl Harbour. Initial reports suggested a BB, 2 CA and some DD’s. As the KB was just refuelling about 15 hexes NORTH of PH, a divine decision was made. THE IMPERIALSTS MUST BE SUNK.
After a daring al night full speed dash the KB intercepted the filthy Yankee ships about 10 hexes ships east of PH. The result was devastating, unfortunately no BB was present (probably still being pumped dry at Pearl )

Allied Ships,
CL Raleigh, SUNK
CL St. Louis, SUNK
CL Honolulu, SUNK
CL Helena, SUNK
CA Portland, SUNK
CA Chester, SUNK
CA Salt Lake City, SUNK
CA Astoria, SUNK
DD Cummings, SUNK
DD Gridley, SUNK
DD McCall, SUNK
DD Mugford, heavy damage

8 enemy cruisers where intercepted by the imperial cherry blossoms and where send to the abys, never to be seen again, only a single destroyer survived (probably).

The KB will refuel (Again) and head back to the imperial capital.

At the Philippines the invasion is getting started. Most of my troops have gone ashore and a beachhead is firmly established.

HONG KONG FALLS, in an all out effort to drive out the white skinned imperialists the armies our divine emperor have again struck a decisive blow to the forces of evil. Our barretted correspondent (see picture below) has the following to say about the event. The imperialists are being burned in their tanks by the thousands, we laugh at their bullets, thy are as easy to defeat as rice paper with a candle, WE WILL WIN, WE WILL WIN WE WILL WIN WE WILL WIN. (so far from our correspondent at the front)

Hmm, at least some action during this turn. The reported ships at pearl harbour, en route to the west coast where “suddenly” gone???. I only found some damaged PH ships from my attack 2 days ago. I attacked them with single KAGA, alas 2 more cruisers into the abyss, maybe now can my fuel hungry carriers finally go home and refuel …..

Went raiding in the Philippines with light forces and bagged myself 2 transports, noticed that I only have lost 2 ships so far, a destroyer at wake (THAT is a surprise !!) and a sub that I parked near Manilla ate a mk 7. Sank 50 allies ships so far (confirmed), but suspect that there are some more losses yet to be confirmed. Also went after the B17's that brigada parked at Cagayan, plan to do some regulair bombing there with my betty's and sally's

Victory again for the IJA,

after cunningly luring the forces of darknes (chinese !!) from their recently captured city of nanning to paknoi (see picture) a suprise airborne landing was conducted on abandoned nanning, RECAPTURING the city for the greater glory of the emperor and leaving 36000 chinese troops suddenly cut off from their supplies in paknoi!!! Ready to be slaughterd like the cattle that theigh are (not a vegitarian lover).

Another high profile operation is underway, of with details can only be revealed the next turn........

HAI, AGAIN A GLORYUS DAY FOR THE IJA.

The imperialistic forces of evil have been tricked into committing a sepukku move. The enemy sends 3 divisions and 2 base forces to counter attack the forces of the sun in Legaspi. In doing so he left himself vulnerable to a landing in his rear at Naga. Today, imperial paratroopers descended from the heaven like cherry blossoms in a storm at Naga, capturing the empty base and preparing the way for a landing by 2 IJA divisions the next day (see picture). The enemy forces at legaspi are trapped and will be destroyed in the next week. By doing this the enemy is denied 200 assault points in the defence of Manila and clack field……

The now trapped enemy forces at legaspi will be bombarded by capital ships in the mean time to prepare the way for our valiant forces to give them a sword to the gut..

O glorious emperor, these are today’s battle reports:

A pre invasion Naval bombardment of Amboina by our battle hardened ships resulted in almost 300 imperialistic losses, preparing the way for your divine forces witch will land here on the next day. The allies counter attacked your forces with their puny PT boats, but they fled without a shot fired. The ground combat at Changsha went well, enemy forces fell like pear blossoms in a divine wind. Taiping was CAPTURED by your imperial guards(see picture) isolating 30K enemy troops in Georgetown, where they will be destroyed during the next few days. Singapore will fall within 2 weeks……

Today the enemy tried to counter attack at Naga with the forces that are isolated at legaspi, 4 divisions and 2 base forces, they where immediately attacked with al available forces and the enemy was forced again to retreat towards legaspi. Also at Naning the encircled enemy forces try to mass in order to break out, they have been shock attacked for the last 2 day by the remnant of the original forces of Naning with only 1-1 attacks, but today the valiant defenders of Naning got reinforced by an fully supplied and rested imperial infantry division, these extra 420 assault points should be enough to push the Chinese back towards Paknoi.

At the Malaya peninsula things are going well, enemy forces have been isolated and the IMP guards are continuing their attacking. To further cut of the enemy forces from Singapore a SURPRISE LANDING is scheduled for tomorrow at the base above Singapore (forgot the name) tomorrow 2 divisions will land there sealing the fate of the peninsula. This move will further more cut of another 5 units from Singapore, with will only contain 5 units to defend the city. Allied air attacks on the invasion convoy near Singapore only hit the cruiser Naga, she was hit 4 times by 250 en 500 pound bombs, surprisingly she only had 30 sys 20 float and 40 fire damage, with some luck I can salvage her (no great loss if I cant).

Today yet another IJN trap was sprung to kill as many imperialistic pigs as possible.
After their successful attack at pearl harbour and their subsequent involvement in the destruction in a score of allied ships that ventured forth from pearl, the mighty KB retreated towards the home island to assist in the capture of vital recourses for the war industries, they even MADE SURE that imperialistic Catalina’s saw them retreating near Midway… . BUT they left behind a suprise…………….

The proud IJN ship KAGA was split from the mighty KB to stay behind and prowl the water between Pearl an the mainland, watching and waiting for an opportunity to pounce the unsuspecting “amelicans” when they tried to reinforce pearl or withdraw ships to the main land. Devine KAGA stayed on station for 3 weeks before finally…………

An imperial sub spotted 2 CA’s (possible BB’s ??) retreating towards the mainland about 15 hexes south of KAGA’s position. As always, the imperialistic forces pounded at once, hoping for yet another mighty victory but they would be disappointed……..

When they sprang their trap the imperial forces found out that they “only” trapped some DD’s,. “Only” 5 destroyers where found and attacked by the imperial cherry blossoms, the results where predictable, but they had hoped for a bigger bounty…. This latest trap could and should have bagged bigger game, but the war is still young and more traps are being set as I speak………..

Day Air attack on TF at 126,74

Japanese aircraft
A6M2 Zero x 7
D3A Val x 22
B5N Kate x 21

Japanese aircraft losses
B5N Kate: 12 damaged

Allied Ships
DD Patterson, Bomb hits 5, on fire, heavy damage
DD Craven
DD Blue, Bomb hits 1, Torpedo hits 1, on fire, heavy damage (sunk)
DMS Boggs, Torpedo hits 4, on fire, heavy damage (sunk)
DD Henley, Torpedo hits 3, on fire, heavy damage (sunk)

Further nothing intersesting to report, maybe that RANGOON was litterally "ANNEXED" by imperial troops marching trough Burma, this is YET another example that my opponent is RUNNING AWAY from the IJA. If only he just would come out and play ........
