Has anyone else had a situation (I have in PBEM only) where the briefing you receive is for a different scenario than the one you are playing. I am playing a PBEM now "Soviet Punch". I received the briefing instructions and map for "Soviet Tank Rush".. I am suposed to rush to the city to my south with the Blues and Royals. Unfortuantely, the map from "Soviet Punch" has no city....and no Blues and Royals.

I'm going to bump this becuase it happened again in a new PBEM game I am playing. I was sent "Thin Blue Line" but received the mission briefing/briefing map/OOB for "A few Good Tanks". Again...not a show-stopper, but it seems like it would be easy to fix (assuming it is a bug and not something on my end)

It is odd that it happens on occasion but not all the time. Maybe that itself is a clue of some sort. Please report any other scenarios that do this.

Thanks, Rob.

Actually, it has occured on all of the PBEM games where I have received the scenarion from the other player. I don't know if it occures when I put together the scenario. If nobody else is noticing this, then obviously its something I'm doing and not the game.

Although I do remember one of my opponents mentioning it...just can't remember which one.

Just happened in the game you started with me last night. Its the German scenario but the mission briefing is all about the American defence of Nordorf. The victory points (F6) and such is correct, but all the briefing, OOB, etc. is incorrect.

OK, this just moved way up my list. Is it just PBEM games still?

Thanks, Rob.

When i open self made scenarios without any scenario briefing made for then the last shown briefings will be displayed. Perhaps this is the same with the saved games from PBEM.

As it appears to me, the program decomplies the scenario file and places the HTML briefings into the folders for NATO and WP. They are not deleted when you finish the game or the scenario. If you open then a save game which does not contain the html i think (or a new scenario without briefings) the last decompiled briefing will be displayed.

Could that be the way the "bug" happens?
