´The 1st Yokosuka SNLF (Special Naval Landing Force) was formed 20 September 1941, at Yokosuka Naval District, round a battalion of 520 paratroopers, this force had taken Menado as part of the Sasebo Raiding Force. The 2nd Yokosuka also formed at the Yokosuka port area, 15 October 1941, with 746 men and trained as such, took no part in any airborne operations and became an island defensive base unit. The 3rd Yokosuka, again formed at the Naval facility consisting of 849 men on 20 November 1942, was used as marine infantry through the Philipines and two months later was involved in the Dutch West Timor invasion as airborne inserted infantry originating from the captured air base at Kendari. The lightly armed Naval parachutist units were an attachment to Marine raiding forces, assigned as part of the IJN Combined Fleet. The three SNLF formations were trained specially as paratroopers to support amphibious landings and not meant for entanglement in heavy pitched land battles, plus wore the badge with an emblem of two crossed parachutes and anchor topped with a small flower.´

Did i miss this somehow or is this capibility of these 3 units not represented?

they are at Taiwan at first, aren't they ? So they are in the game ( I saw two of them ... I don't know if there is the third one ... ) .. if they have a bonus as paratroopers, I don't know ... but there are also two parachute regiments at Kinagusan ( sorry for the name of the city ... ) it is the city on the Island just below Hanoi ...
Hope I answer to your question ...

I know they are in the game, and i also know the army para regiments are around... i just never seen any hint these navy units can be used as paratroopers so just wondering if i missed that somehow or if this is not in the game.

The 1st and 2nd Yokosuka SNLF are both air droppable. You can see it on the special para icon on the bottom of the screen when their hex is selected.

All 3 units are there. One of them starts in either Camranh Bay or Taan, I can't remember exactly.

To use just select Troop Transport on a Transport air group and then an enemy base as the Destination Hex. Be aware that it takes a LOT of Japanese transport planes to shift one unit though. It will take more than one turn to complete the drop. The para infantry will then shock attack in the first ground combat phase after landing.

There's a total of 5 IJA para battalions.
