I am very pleased to hear that Matrix and 2by3 have decided to work together, I am also excited about the new games in development and as soon as they are ready you will have my money, thats for sure. But I am confused, on 2by3games site they addvertize a war in Russia style game, but this does not appear to be in the list of the three games that you two company's are making according to the email sent to me by Matrix. I must say that I am disapointed by this. I think a complete re-modell of WiR would sell big, VERY BIG. How about this for an idea, later on you could develop the other half of the war in Europe, Ie france and north Africa as a follow on stand alone or if both games were owned they could be joined in some way to create the entire War in Europe in one game, this could in theory create a multiplayer game where one person controls the forces of any particular country/or multiply country's leaving the remainder to be run by the AI. If this is not possible, and I cannot see why it should'nt be posible, I for one would be willing to pay well over the odds for such a grand strategy game of this nature. I have some limited programming experience myself and have often thought about cracking WiR open and attempting to modify things myself but, alas never seem to find the time. Just a sugestion for all its worth. The StratMan.

Matrix and 2by three have a cooperative agreement, but aren't necessarily joined at the hip

Just because our product lines do not overlap comepletely is nothing to be concerned concerned about, just the nature of limited resources! We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with 2by3, but not all our projects will be joint! [This message has been edited by Paul Vebber (edited January 04, 2001).]
