This is interesting and maddening!

full campaign going, playing Allied...
I'm finally conducting operations in the New Guinea coast and up towards the PI... most of the SP islands are mine...

all of a sudden I'm getting a bunch of my ships (mostly APs and one persistent rogue CL) becoming Japanese computer controlled, and heading to some such base to pick up some sort of Japanese troop!!!

I take back control (halfway to freakin' China...) and after a couple turns, more get taken control of!!!

anyone have this problem happen?

Yepp, I have it the other way around as Japanese in Soerabaja(sp?). Disbanded about twenty merchants and some escorts there just to find them send to San Francisco to pick-up whatever there is I played this game several time (taking control and disbanding the TF) just to find them in a new TF a turn or two later. Now I keep them in a TF or sent the to other bases. Only MLs kept in harour for repair.

A good way to get some supplies or oil for the Japanese! Just let them sail to SF and haul some supplies and then return to your home islands.

Just a joke!! This has to be fixed - as some other bugs.!!

Had this bug too. Under what control is your base? I´ve got this bug if I take an enemy base and it stays under an enemy command. If I take Chandpur and place some ships there every two or three turns a TF is formed because the base is still under British HQ. It´s the same problem with my aircraft. Placed in a base under enemy HQ and my aircraft forget their ordered target. It´s reset every turn. This doesn´t happen if the base is under my control and my HQ. If I change HQ I have to spend PP but the next turn it´s again an enemy HQ. My base under enemy HQ and then these two bugs appear: planes forget their ordered target and TFs are built.
