"not giving supply to the LCU" can mean a couple things. 1. Even tho the LCU screen will indicate that a specific LCU might have zeros supplies, I believe that all calculations for supply usage are based on the supply level of the entire base. So it doesn't really matter if one unit at a base indicates that it's short on supplies, as long as the base itself has ample supplies. I'm not positive, and I can't prove it. But since you can't make a specific LCU draw supplies, it -should- at least, use the base supply level as a whole. 2. That being said. In order to draw replacement squads/guns, an LCU must be at a base with 2x supply requirements, or trace a path to another base that has 2x supply requirement. You have no control over who/how much/what squads are drawn (unless replacesments for teh specific units are turned on or off). 3. LCUs will "eat" supplies every day if they have at, or more than, the required supply level for the base. The more supplies you have, the more they seem to eat (at greater than 2x, they're ravenous). They're probably pulling replacemetn sqauds, recovering fatigue, all sorts of good stuff at that point. The closer to 1x supply level you have, they less they eat. And the less fatigue they recover. At less than 1x supply level, they don't eat much (if anything), and they might raise fatigue, disable a squad or two. In the red, again, no eating, but fatigue levels and disabled squads are more dramatic. Again, we're not talking about the specific LCUs. We're talking about the overall supply level of the base, affecting -all- the LCUs. 4. Bombarding, defending, attacking all eat supplies. 5. Planes eat supplies if they leave the ground. 6. If a base has 2x supplies or greater, supplies will "flow" to other bases not meeting that requirement, and/or to LCUs in the field that can trace supply to your base. 8. A LOT of stuff can eat your supplies. Again, I'm fairly sure the supply situation is based on the BASE, not the individual supply level of the LCU (altho I could be wrong). Basically, the more supplies you have, the better off you are, and the more you eat. The less supplies you have, the less you eat, and the more dramatic the adverse effects. -F-
