I have LCU that will not draw supply from the base they are sitting on. I have resupplied the base several times and they still do not draw supplies.

Has anyone else experienced this? Seems to have happened after an enemy TF bombarded the base.

Planes still fly and use supply.

Any help would be appreciated.

This has been going on for over a month of game turns.

Bases with supply in red will not give supply to LCU. If I remember well, a base shoul have twice the needed number for a month to give supply to LCUs. You can fly out your planes one day, that will reduce the supply needed and it may be sufficient to resupply your LCU.

"not giving supply to the LCU" can mean a couple things.

1. Even tho the LCU screen will indicate that a specific LCU might have zeros supplies, I believe that all calculations for supply usage are based on the supply level of the entire base. So it doesn't really matter if one unit at a base indicates that it's short on supplies, as long as the base itself has ample supplies. I'm not positive, and I can't prove it. But since you can't make a specific LCU draw supplies, it -should- at least, use the base supply level as a whole.

2. That being said. In order to draw replacement squads/guns, an LCU must be at a base with 2x supply requirements, or trace a path to another base that has 2x supply requirement. You have no control over who/how much/what squads are drawn (unless replacesments for teh specific units are turned on or off).

3. LCUs will "eat" supplies every day if they have at, or more than, the required supply level for the base. The more supplies you have, the more they seem to eat (at greater than 2x, they're ravenous). They're probably pulling replacemetn sqauds, recovering fatigue, all sorts of good stuff at that point. The closer to 1x supply level you have, they less they eat. And the less fatigue they recover. At less than 1x supply level, they don't eat much (if anything), and they might raise fatigue, disable a squad or two. In the red, again, no eating, but fatigue levels and disabled squads are more dramatic. Again, we're not talking about the specific LCUs. We're talking about the overall supply level of the base, affecting -all- the LCUs.

4. Bombarding, defending, attacking all eat supplies.

5. Planes eat supplies if they leave the ground.

6. If a base has 2x supplies or greater, supplies will "flow" to other bases not meeting that requirement, and/or to LCUs in the field that can trace supply to your base.

8. A LOT of stuff can eat your supplies. Again, I'm fairly sure the supply situation is based on the BASE, not the individual supply level of the LCU (altho I could be wrong). Basically, the more supplies you have, the better off you are, and the more you eat. The less supplies you have, the less you eat, and the more dramatic the adverse effects.

That sounds about right... but I think lack of supplies for a specific LCU causes increased fatigue for that unit...

I'm having the same supply problem with drawing supplies and learning more... thanks!

so I guess the general rule is that for combat zones... try and keep 2X the required supply to keep things smooth???

Yep. If you have 2x supplies, you're getting all the benefits you can get. Good luck with that tho. Much easier said than done!

-THAT- is very much the challenge of this game. Without supplies, units degrade. Planes don't fly. You can't fight. You lose the base. Keeping supplies ample for a defense is hard. Keeping supplies ample for an offense, is even harder.
