I hate to start off on the wrong foot, and I don't want to sound confrontational, but I have no immediate plans to buy the new version of Stun, and I thought I should inform you why. Not to mince words, it basically boils down to one thing: Money. USD 40.00 is a lot of money for what amounts to an upgrade for a game I've already bought. That's roughly 65 Canadian dollars at the prevailing rate of exchange--more than one pays for a lot of new titles at the Electronics Boutique up here in Toronto. Now add the cost of shipping (another USD $20.50), plus taxes assessed at the border, and you're talking over CAD 100.00... way-y-y too rich for my blood, especially when top-tier titles are available for $80 or less after taxes, and often considerably less. If Stun DS were available as a download for USD 30.00 or in local stores for CAD 50.00, I would probably buy it, but the current pricing and delivery options are a strong disincentive for me right now. -- M

I agree completely I want this game, but at over a 100 dollers it's a little too expensive, this is the main reason that I am pressuring matrix to get a deal with Electronics Boutique too distribute the game OR at VERY least get a shipping option that cost $10 US or less.

Hum, Same problem here. With the price of shipping, you think twice about it before buying anything. Even a deal with amazon would be ok, as they are present in lots of different country.

Yes, I agree. There definently should be a download option. I dont get it, why a web-only distributor doesnt have that option? If the excuse is that the packet would be too big, I think that is a plain bull****. I dont know about others, but I could download something like 10gb big packet if it could be scheduled by Getright (or similiar). I did buy the newest game because I didnt have the previous version, but I will not update to next version if the shipment doesnt change.

I must admit that I am intrigued by this game and the support the developers continue to put behind it. However, the cost is very prohibitive for those of us outside the USA. I was just at Chips & Bits who sell the game shipped to Canada for $47.95 USD. That works out to $76+ CDN. Ouch Does anyone have a breakdown for taxes at the Canadian border? A download option would be great or a deal with some Canadian distributor. Here's hoping...

If Chips & Bits is sending the package in the mail, you can expect Canada Post to collect PST + GST (or HST, as the case may be) when they deliver the package, plus a CAD $5.00 brokerage fee. That's actually not too bad compared to UPS Ground... but don't get me started on those pirates. :-/ FedEx isn't cheap, but in my experience, you usually don't get dinged for taxes on FedEx shipments, and the brokerage is typically included. But even so, USD 20 (CAD 32 or so) is too much to pay for shipping.

Well it seems that things are changing. Some resellers has been hired, so I have been able to buy a copy of STUN through an english store, and on matrix web-shop you can choose your
shipping method. Seems to me we have been heard !

We are always listening. It just take time to get some of these ideas setup and in a working order.
