I saw Kg Derflingers After Action Report I thought it was pretty cool so i thought i would take a wack at my own. After the quick vicious battle in taking Hill 255.2 I deployed my troops and prepared to advance North and Northeast toward Prohkrova after assigning my Special Forces to penetrate the Komsolets Building to the North of our line and ordering a bombardment of the surrounding tree lines the advance began... contact almost immediately as Ivan's Atr's and machine guns opened up on the advancing recon units. This resistance along the road was quickly swept aside when the Stug 33s let loose upon the enemies troops wreaking havoc. The main bulk of the infantry was moving north advancing on the Komsolets building across the rough field my main group of four Panzers temporarily held in reserve while the Captured Panzers ,Stugs advanced East then north up the main road to Prohkravo, reinforcements had arrived in the form of Panthers and a pair of Tigers. I sent the Panthers and one of the Tigers to catch up to the Pz 34s and Stugs.. and began advancing the Tigers in the reserve group towards Komsolets buildings. The all hades breaks loose in the Komsolets building as the Special Forces penetrated and immediately destroyed Ivan's headquarters unit , an infantry squad, and a BM 13 katyusha rocked launcher. Both sides reacted immediately and one tiger is destroyed in the rush to the buildings by a hidden infantry squad. Ivan's armour began rushing in and firing at the now beleagured special forces squads around and in the buildings...The tigers rush in and a point blank firefight erupts amongst the buildings.... in the meantime the advancing force up the main road encounters a large number of enemy tanks attacking from three directions the lead group after killing three or four tanks are in danger of being cut off as a pincer has attacked and killed two stugs advancing up the road up the road some ways behind them. In danger of being overun the lead element blows smoke and retreats a short distance and regroups with the rest of the armour...A tiger advancing on building s had spotted and destroyed the flanking T34s that had nearly outflanked the road group...Back in the buildings the fighting was hot and heavy , satchel charges and panzerwurfminen going off ,as the beleagured Special forces troops and advancing infantry chargeing in after the Tigers. T34s and Tigers pounding each other in close quarters and another tiger picking off the advancing enemy tanks soon the buildings are clear and the smoking ruins of 17 T34s and their recon units lie smoking around the buildings and on the roadway...The tigers load some infantry and race north along the road and east to hook up with the other armored forces along the main road....Who having withdrawn slightly dont get the chance to advance immediately because Ivan is charging down the road and along the edge of field... it becomes a turkey shoot as the combined armoured forces close in on Ivan from the east and he advances into point blank fire from the south...another huge litter of Ivans tanks lay burning along the road and fields.. a short dash up the road and the last objectives is obtained...casualtys inflicted 47 armoured vehicles... armour lost 6.... 11111 to 2000 ish result Decisive Victory.
