In weap dictionary all guns rated by effect points (inc torps). But bombs rated by weights. Is way to compare these (i guess game engine operated some sort of universal rate)?

That's how they created them (effectiveness is based on weight, and bombs are the easiest to see the collelation).

The "effectiveness" rating is -supposed- to (loosely) correspond with the weight of the shell. So a 500 lb. bomb, has an effectiveness of 500. The flaw in the plan that it doesn't take into account that shell-weight doesn't equal the amount of "boom" in the shell. There's casing, in csome cases shrapnel, other things that add weight. That's (probably) part of the reason why naval shells tend to be deadly in WitP. The effectiveness genearlly corresponds to the weight of the shell, but again, the shell weight includes other things besides explosive charge.

Stop. Some of loads in ac indicated weight in kg. So 50 kg bombs in rus fighters - 50 points or 100?

30 kg bomb

1 kg = 2.2 lb

30 kg = 66 lb
60 kg = 132 lb

Effectiveness of 30 kg bomb = 66
Effectiveness of 60 kg bomb = 132

AC capacities are listed in pounds by the way (regardless of the actual weapon type [kg or lb]).

Don't try and get fancy with these, they are used to calibrate the damage, don't take they out of context, use them to compare against other weapons/bombs of the same catagory ONLY.

AP bombs will show a lower effect then their weight would indicate as they are more penetrator then explosive. Different routines handle the different catagories so it is dangerous to make assumptions by looking at lets say a 500 lb GP bomb vs a 250 KG AP bomb.
