they will come from the site as a zipped file...when you unzip them...they will ask you where you want them to be ...(C:unzipped)...or something like that is default in winzip...just make your unzip folder to be your sceanrio folder in the matrix game folder...
I hope this helps....that is how I do it....and it works ok....if you are downloading any campains though,...you will unzip them to the campain folder in the matrix game folder-not the sceanrio folder...
take care,
Huffy

Correct. Unzip it there. Pay attention to the number when you unzip it so you can find it later. If the slot that it goes to is already taken, just change the three numbers in each of the files to the number of an open slot.

Example: Lets say the file you want to unzip says 003, but you love the current scenario in slot 3.

scen003.txt
scen003.cmt
scen003.dat

Change to free slot (say, 399)

scen399.txt
scen399.cmt
scen399.dat.

Then your scenario in slot 3 will be ok, and your scenario will be in slot 399 of the scenario list. If you are not worried about overwriting a scenario, just unzip the files straight to the SCEN folder.

First unzip them to a temp folder. Rename each file after you unzip them. Then drop them in the SCEN folder. Sorry for not being clear on that one.

Welcome teck :)

Create new folder. Into spwaw -folder or some place where its easy to find. Name this folder to scenDL. (DL means DownLoad) Extract your downloaded sceanrios into this folder as they are. Now rename original scenario folder to scenOrig. When you've done it, rename your scenDL to scen.

This way you don't mesh up original scenarios untill you've played them. You'll just do this 'rename'operation to switch between folders, sounds complicated but I do it all the time and everything works fine. (Game reads data from folder that is named 'scen'.)

I can hear veterans laughing at me now (kindly ) because I don't explain how to rename scenarios. That can be done, but untill you are a bit familiar with game I'll suggest (friendly) that leave them as they are. With chandlas editor you can move scenarios to another place and its easy,- but to learn to use That editor takes time.

Why I tell you to rename folders? Experience. I have now, after about two months installation, 3 scenario folders, 2 campaign folder and 4 map folders. Hell!! But thruth is that I have huge storage of stuff for spwaw and it is easier to use this *manual-library* system than every time move scenarios from that folder to this.. Yes, I'm little crazy... Spwaw has made it to me... and I don't complain.
