Hi.

I’ve been pondering Japanese ship production and acceleration and trying to crunch some numbers. I’d swear I read Japanese CVE’s used merchant shipyard points but when I went to confirm that I couldn’t find it anywhere. While I’m asking about that, how about the auxiliary vessels, such as CS’s, AV’s, PC’s, AR’s, etc. What type of shipyard points do they use?

CVE uses merchant shipyards, and AV and AR too
CV and CVL use naval shipyards.
I am not sure about CS and PC/PG, but I think that CS uses naval, and PC/PG merchant shipyards.

CVE, CS, ML, MSW, AP, AK, TK, AO, AR, AS, AV, AE, MLE all use Merchant shipbuilding points. All other ships use Naval shipbuilding points.
