1)Does WPO have its own video intro?

2)What will the desktop icon for WPO look like once install on one's computer!

3)Any extra sounds being added, to give it that 1920's feel!

4)Can we have a look at the box art for WPO (If any!)

5)Will future WITP patches contain fixes (if any ) for WPO?

6)What does Tankerace plan to do once finished with WPO? Another add-on perhaps!!??

7)Any chance you can send me an advanced copy of the game before everyone else!!

Not right now it doesn't. I thought about doing one, but most 1910's-1920's era footage is grainy, small, and particularly crappy looking. I'd like it to have one, but I feel the time that could be spent on it could better be used elsewhere in the project.

I'm toying around with different icons, haven't quite decided which one yet. Probably something of a battleship, or at the very least a small version of one of the menu screens (like regular WiTP).

Thank's to copyright laws, no. However, considering various places 1920's swing music can be freely downloaded (just not sold), I would expect a freeware music pack on Spooky's site sometime after release.

Soon... I have a couple of ideas as to box art, but I haven't decided on the "right" one yet.

WPO will have its own executable, so any WitP fixes that are necessary to WPO will come in a WPO only patch, while any fixes or improvements to WPO will come in a separate WPO patch.

My basic plan to expand on WPO, will more scenarios (that can be downloaded by WPO users, like a patch), hopefully covering the Russo-Japanese war, and maybe even a for fun Jutland scenario with full British and German databases. After that... Im going to bed for a month

Send a SASE with $2,000 to.... Just kidding. Seriously, I hope to get this finished quickly. I was planning on wrapping my end up over the weekend, but certain problems at home have delayed it. Trust me, I want this released as much as you guys do.

Will CD-on-demand be available? I assume so....

I like having my own copies of software to reinstall after a hard drive crash. I don't mind surfing out for patches, but the base program I like to have a master copy. Old fashioned, I guess.

Great question........... I agree completely with wanting/having a master copy of my own.

Rob.

As I understand it... back when negotiations began to turn this into a commercial product, I asked that it would be similar to WitP, being a DD game, with a box on demand as well. So, unless no one told me, its still going to be that way.

I'm with you guys, I like to have hard copies of my games... that plus it's gonna make it easier to go "Hey, look what I did!" at the next high school reunion

Thanks to a hectic week and problems at home, I didn't get it finished last week like I wanted, but Im looking to have everything sans documentation done by this weekend, and then when Mike gets his end done after 1.5 is out, testing should continue. The nitty gritty stuff (typos, misspellings, and flagrant OOB errors) I have already started on, working as I go.

Thanks for answering the questions tankerace.

Any idea if the DD and the boxed version will be available from day one at the same time.

I recall FP germany only had DD available for a while and thus could only get the DD and missed out of the boxed version.
