I've been playing 7.0 for the last five years; never knew a reason to upgrade it. Now that I've downloaded Das Reich, I find that some hexes are marked "Mega Campaign Ter 90z4 Gen," I believe it has something to do with version difference and hex-type available. I found ver 8.20 but it's a 420 MB download that I don't want to make unless there's just no other option. Why should I have to downlaod the games again though I have an earlier version? Does somebody know of an update out there that can do the same thing in lesser MB's?

8.2 was only released as a full download. The 8.3 version is a patch that can be applied to the 8.2 version. Your only option seems to be to download it, or have someone send you a CD of the 8.2 full download, which alot of guys are willing to do if needed.
