I was tinkering a bit with a/c upgrades this morning, and tried to upgrade the Pete squadrons on the Lingayen Invasion TF at Palau. I could not upgrade them because I was out of range and out of supply (HQ is Independent iirc). Anyway, I tried switching it to SE Flt (the HQ in Truk, approximately 16 hexes from Palau) and tried to upgrade again. No dice. Truk had ~70k supply, Palau iirc has maybe 8k supply. Anyone want to tell me what I need to do to upgrade these guys? (Note I was playing around and had upgraded the CS in JHI and several Nate squadrons to Oscars, so it wasn't that I did not understand how to do an upgrade. )
