Not sure whats wrong but I downloaded the 1.5 patch but it doesnt apprear to have taken. Well not completely that is. The main menue screen does now say Ver.1.5 but none of the stated oob changes seem to be in the database and the manual upgrade feature isnt apparent in the game unless I am doing something wrong. Also there is no 1.5 readme file attached to previous version readme file either.

I am patched right up to 1.4

I seem to recall a need to delete a certain file before patching is this still the case?

Any help appreciated.

is there a switch to toggle in preferences screen for the aircraft upgrades? Did you set all planes to allow upgrades? Look at your air squadrons and click the "do not upgrade" or "upgrade" button, if you have 1.5 it takes you to the upgrade path screen and you may change its path.

No toggle for upgrade preference. No ugrade path screen comes when clicking on upgrade button. No database changes that I can find. No 1.5 readme file. The only thing that indicates the patch is that the main menue screen has Version 1.5 printed on the upper right hand corner.

Isnt there a certain file I need to delete before applying the patch?

scroll down to" Patch 1.5 should I reinstall". Frag fixed the same problem for me.
