I have upgraded to ver. 2, am playing a save game from ver 1. My game keeps crashing at times with arty, and tank shots. I have deleted steep.prf, still happens. I can play normal for awhile than I shoot at a target it shuts down, I relaod shoot again, crashs, I relaod shoot at diff target then at old one will keep playing. I have tried reinstalling ver 2 again same problems. And yes I did install over ver . Any Ideas, I can send the save file and inform you what I did? Help I love this game and now its becoming a pain

Hey KwII! If you would read your new document you would have seen that you cannot play save game or pbem with version 2. A small price to pay for such a improuvment. Keep your treads up.

Well I got the help but failed to work I started a new Camp. and it crashed at setup when Arty started firing. Restarted system and tried a scen, it did the same so my problem appears not to be the Save ver1 to ver 2 any ideas?

Did you have a large arty barrage? with different caliber guns and perhaps some of them firing smoke? In such cases my game tends to crash too, if I have fast arty on. Haven't found other fix than turn the sound off

Kwll, try deleting your steel.prf file from your SPWAW\save directory. It won't hurt anything. Just remove it. Then restart the game. Set your preferences again.
