Hi SPWAW wonderful guys :
Thousands of thanks to you all for such a great job. I had and have lots of fun in enjoying it.
But after I applied the patch, I believe I really need some helps from you. Thanks a lot in advance for your patience and time.
[The patch was downloaded about 18 mbs. The steel.prf has been deleted befoer use the patch. The "Command & Control" button has been turned off before play the long campaign GE vs SO from 41/06.]
(1) Now, the "Target" function didn't lock the previous target. Is it a new feature ?
Before use the patch, if you fire on a target after press the "T" key, the app will remember this selected target hence you don't need to cycle between targets after re-press the T key.
(2) Damage units are still problematic.
First look when the fix/change window comes up, only the killed units have cost on the list, but the damage units have "0" cost on the list.
If don't click the Fix or Fix All button, then the damage units will remain damage in the next battle.
If click the Fix All button, then the units will be fixed, but the damage value is not refreshed on the unit data dialog.
(3) Upgrade a sniper to a regular 10-men infantry, it became a one-man squad.
(4) Turned off the engineer's flamethrower & sctchel charges. But when an enemy came into the adjacent hex, the engineer still fired the flamethrower.
This final one is only a personal opinion: could we have a button to decide the random range of the map sizes before start a long/generated campaign, such as from 80 to 120, and so on ? Since we can decide the buy points now, the core force can be kind of big. But the map in the campaign is somehow giving a feeling that the map is too small.
Other than these, I am very happy with SPWAW. Thanks again, and I apologize if I bring up some stupid questions.
Steve Wang
