Status: offline 		Has anyone else had this happen, and/or know what to do about it? Compaq Presario 7000US 1200mhz 32mb Nvidia TNT2 with latest 3D detonater files 128mb RAM This happened also on my old machine 266mhz w/12mb voodoo II,128mb RAM, thought it was just the other machine!? Any help appreciated.

Status: offline 		Do you mean how infantry can get hung up advancing through hedges? Then they just go in circles. If so, I have also experienced it. It has nothing to do with the hardware. There maybe a bug in the pathfinding routine. The solution is to move the unit backwards, so all of the infantry can get out of the hedge. Then you can advance again. Oops, It seems I had misunderstood the problem, and my solution doesn't have anything to do with it. [ April 28, 2001: Message edited by: cjpaul ]

Status: offline 		Did you install teh registered version on top of the demo? I had teh same problem...uninstall and install it to an empty directory and it will work.

Status: offline 		Cjpaul, thanks anyway! ;) Paul, no it was a fresh install, same as with the old machine. This happens when the program is making the map, usually with European maps.

Status: offline 		I have the same problem. when starting a game (not campaign) it locks up bad when making the map. When "scrub" appears in the status window it freezes.

This is with registered version and a new install. HELP!

Status: offline 		Did you uninstall the demo - then install the registered version? Try that.

IF not that try installing it to a non-default location.

IF that doesn't work try moving the folder to a different location.

Ctrl-Alt-Del close the game
Fire it back up and try again


About every 5th time I try to load a map it hangs up
But never twice in a row
