Is anyone installed the new version on WinME? When I try to run the self extractor, it locks up and won't let me install... HELP me please... I have waited soooo long..... :) Thanks in advance for any advice.. :) Rick

Do you mean 5.01? I installed 5.0 without a hitch except for the vids file. By the way, where do I find the 5.0 to 5.01 patch? I read a page or two back that there was a problem with the vid file and the OOBs. I figured I'd wait until it was corrected before I upgrade. I lost track of where the link was posted. Campaigns started in 5.0 can still be played in 5.01, right? That's another thing holding me back. I'm on my third battle of the full WW2 campaign. I'm really impressed, I'm attacking the right opponant from the correct side of the map, the date, location, and opponant feel right (although I would've liked another battle against the Polish, now its the English). The patch from 5.0 to 5.01 can now be found on the Matrix Download Page for SPWAW it's 1.9 meg in size. http://www.matrixgames.com/Games/SP-WorldAtWar/downloads.asp

I have windows ME and have not had a problem, try using unzipping program like winzip www.winzip.com
