That would be a no vote then

As for the presence of enemy recon planes...there is no problem...when a small airfield symbol appears on the big map of the Pacific in Washington (Pentagon isn't built yet) we know there is an air presence there

I say go for it. I haven't played against all your opponents, but Lew is a crafty IJN player and I've had a devil of a time getting him to slow down his ops in our 1-on-1 game. I've been planning my own raid in the North, but hadn't considered Sakhalin Island before...

I think you'd definitely draw a strong response, and anything that diverts forces from SoPac/Burma/DEI is a good thing at this point in the war. Just as long as you're willing to lose the forces assigned, because I can see them slamming the door shut pretty fast on you. Do you know where the CVs are?

Also, what happens to that Mitsubishi plant if you capture the base?
Finally, as much as I wish you luck, I wish I'd thought of it first, because Lew's going to reinforce in our game if you're successful in this one!

Fortunately, the adults are in charge, so we are just goig with Mitchell's idea. And no, we do not know where the KB is.

Good question. I would hope something bad would happen to it. In reality, its only about 8% of Mitsubishi engine production.

The eastern side of the Malayan peninsula can become a ship graveyard for the Japanese, if the Allied player manages to press home his air attacks against their invasion fleets. The Dutch Martin bombers can also be very effective if their pilots have the stones to fly low enough!

The biggest land battle so far was near Changsha, Yunan Provence. Emergin from the mountains, The 5th War Area Army threw back an equal force of the arrogant interlopers in complete disarray. The causalties were 3:1 in favor of the Japanese, but their forces certainly suffered serious disrutpion.

Quick question. How are you obtaining and creating all of these reports and maps? What software do you use?

You SHOULD have Paint, since it's an integrated part of Windows. And yes, you can enter text with it, using text boxes.

Look for a letter A on the tool panel. That's the text box tool; just click and drag, and input the text.
