I finally got hi speed internet and downloaded the game, but it doesn't work. I'm 99.9% sure the problem is on my computer, but before I called tech support I thought I'd check. So, 1) What are the minimum specs to run the game? I have a PII 300 with 128MB ram and a 2MB video card, but I believe the card is not working properly (see # 2) 2) The problem, which occurs with virtually every game I try to play, happens when I click on the start game icon on the start screen. Then, a movie tries to play and my computer freezes up. I believe that if I could somehow skip the movie, the game would run. So, is there any way to go directly to the game without the opening movie?
Thanks for any help, Chris Buhl

Chris: Welcome aboard...My way may work, can't lose anything....here goes...I open from a shortcut, as soon as SSI Logo appears, I hit space bar, a couple of flashes and a black screen comes up, (with cursor arrow in top left corner), after ~30 seconds the game choice screen comes up in all its Glory and away I go. By the way I've had to do this to all my SSI games except Silent Hunter. Maybe it will work for you. As far as minumum requirements I have less than you and it works. P2, w/2gig HD and 48M RAM. Machine is so old its got a roman numeral for a serial number and is autographed by B. Franklin of Philadelphia. [ February 21, 2002: Message edited by: chief ]
